Faculty Profile Registration

Welcome to the OSU Environmental Faculty Profile registration area. It is vitally important that you complete the following input forms to become a member of the Environmental Faculty at Oklahoma State University. If you are a member of the OSU faculty and teach environmental courses and/or conduct environmental research, you are eligible to become a member of the OSU Environmental Faculty. You may wish to join in one – or both – of two ways:

• Environmental Teaching Faculty
• Environmental Research Faculty

Membership in either faculty profile is entirely up to you; you can edit your membership information or even delete your membership at any time by using our profile management system. In fact, we encourage you to review your membership information at least once each year to keep it current.

Environmental Teaching Faculty (ETF) Profile

The information in the ETF profile database allows students to identify environmental courses in which to enroll, helps advisors and students prepare plans of study, helps recruit new students, and helps the Environmental Science Graduate Program advertise courses. As a result, we ask you to identify courses that may attract environmental science graduate students, which you plan to offer over the next three years.
ETF membership is required to chair the committee of an environmental science student or to become a member of the Environmental Science Graduate Program Steering Council.

Environmental Research Faculty (ERF) Profile

The information in the ERF profile database helps students identify potential research advisors, helps research funders and other faculty identify potential research collaborators, and allows the Environmental Institute to prepare research summaries to be used to advertise OSU’s environmental research efforts and attract funding interest.
ERF membership is required if you wish to direct the research of an environmental science doctoral student or if you wish to be eligible to receive research funding from the Environmental Institute.

PLEASE take the 5-10 minutes required to join either or both of these databases. This will help us help you attract students to your classes, graduate assistants for your research programs, and funding for your research.
