On May 23, 2010 the Oklahoma Academy for State Goals facilitated a special town hall for the OWRRI to finalize water resource management recommendations to be submitted to the Oklahoma Water Resources Board for their consideration in inclusion of the Oklahoma Comprehensive Water Plan. This town hall was the fourth phase of a five-phase process that began in 2007. The final phase will begin in the spring of 2011 when the OWRRI will hold 13 feedback and implementation meetings.
Below is the link to the final report and recommendations that have been submitted to the OWRB. However, please note that the OWRB has the responsibility to draft the water plan and the water policy recommendations generated for the Water Plan will reflect both general and specific public input and comments received over the past 3½ years.
