The Oklahoma Water Resources Research Institute (OWRRI), located in the Environmental Institute at Oklahoma State University but serving the entire state of Oklahoma, is one of 54 institutes/centers in the U.S. and possessions and is a member of the National Institutes for Water Resources. OWRRI is dedicated to support research on all topics related to Oklahoma water resources and the management of water resources, to the education and training of water specialists and professionals, and to outreach and information transfer in the Oklahoma water resource community. OWRRI began in 1965 and has been directed by Dr. Will Focht since 2002.
