We understand people have participated in other listening sessions and nothing productive ever came of these efforts. We want to assure you your comments will be submitted to the OWRB. We have designed a transparent process, everything is open to everyone. All comments are available in a searchable database on this website so you can see what other people are saying, as well as, find your own comment. Reports from each meeting are also available. After the Local Input Meetings are complete, regional meetings will be held to consolidate and prioritize the issues that come up in the local meetings. Then a series of planning workshops will be held to develop a list of possible ways to address some of the issues. The final meeting will be a Town Hall where we will work toward reaching consensus on some of these ideas. From this, a report will be developed and sent to the OWRB for consideration in writing a draft water plan. Once the draft plan is complete, we will hold 11 regional meetings to provide citizens an opportunity to comment on the draft plan. Those comments will also be submitted to the OWRB for their consideration in the final water plan. Throughout this long-term project all information will be available on our website or you can contact us and we will help you get copies of the information you need.
