Environmental Science Committees

The Steering Council is comprised of three standing committees: the Admission and Retention Committee, the Curriculum and Assessment Committee, and the Awards and Events Committee. The Council is responsible for the overall guidance of the program and approval of proposals issued by the other committees. All committee members are elected by their peers in their own colleges. This adds to the legitimacy of the committees.

Admission and Retention Committee

The purpose of the Admittance and Retention Committee is to revise student admission standards and application criteria as necessary, screen and approve admission application, monitor student’s progress in the program, and request a review of the student’s file if warranted.

Curriculum and Assessment Committee

The Curriculum Committee's purpose is to create, revise and terminate specializations as necessary as well as ENVR courses, identify new core courses, and set up courses for both the Stillwater and Tulsa campuses.
