The Environmental Science Graduate Program at OSU

The Environmental Science Graduate Program is a unique approach to graduate education. A key word to describe this program is flexibility. Because of flexibility, the ES program attracts students capable of thinking beyond a single discipline.

Graduate students can acquire a transdisciplinary graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in the Environmental Science Graduate Program at Oklahoma State University. Each student has a unique opportunity to develop a degree plan that specifically addresses individual career goals. Degree integrity is ensured through the minimal program requirements and the guidance of the student’s graduate advisor and committee.

The ESGP is administrated by OSU’s Graduate College with OSU. This association helps in integrating research and education among six disciplinary colleges in the university by tapping into the University’s expertise in the basic sciences, agriculture, engineering, education, policy and business. Selecting courses throughout the university allows students to develop original research.
