The next phase of the planning process is about to get underway. Now that the Local Input Meetings are over we are finalizing Local Input Meeting Reports and are consolidating them into eleven regional and one Statewide comment summary. As these summaries are completed they will be posted here on our website. We have used Oklahoma’s sub-state planning districts as a convenient way to divide up the state. There will be one regional meeting held in each of these 11 districts, dates and locations will be announced in the spring of 2008. We would like to emphasize that the water plan will not be a regional water plan, but will be a comprehensive statewide plan. The purpose of the regional meetings is to consolidate and prioritize issues and to help set the agenda for the planning workshops.
