elcome.  This website is primarily intended to provide information about my professional life.  However, I have also included some personal information, if you are interested.

I currently am serving in a couple of positions at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

First, I am Director of the Environmental Institute.  Housed within a division of the Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer, the Institute is charged with encouraging environmental research among faculty at OSU.  We are investigating a redirection of our mission to one in Sustainable Development.

I also serve as Director of the Oklahoma Water Resources Research Institute, which is funded by a US Geological Survey research grant.

Second, I am Director of the Environmental Science Graduate Program.  This transdisciplinary, university-wide, program supports more than 100 graduate students seeking MS or PhD degrees in Environmental Science.  The Program is  housed within the Graduate College at OSU.

Third, I am an associate professor in the Department of Political Science.  I teach graduate courses in environmental regulatory compliance, applied environmental risk analysis, environmental management, emergency risk assessment, public policy analysis, and community relations, as well as an undergraduate course in American government.

My research interests include stakeholder participation in environmental decision  making, watershed management, enhanced life cycle assessment, risk-risk tradeoffs associated with bioremediation of radionuclides, the relationship between trust and political participation preferences, and environmental injustice to Native Americans.

The Curriculum Vita presents more detail information.  Other components of this website present additional information.  Thanks for visiting.  Your comments and suggestions are welcome.
